While the subject of oppression may never really close, this ends our current discussion about it here on Create Parity. We have discussed how things happen. People are forced. People are coerced. People find themselves in situations outside of their control that oppress every action and every dream they have ever had. People are being actively oppressed in some of the worst conditions imaginable around the world. And that does mean the whole world, not just on the other side of the world and far away from the average reader. Oppression has many faces and many names and it takes on many forms. There is trafficking, rape, sexual exploitation, domestic violence, slavery, mutilation and more. These things are happening in our homes, at our schools, in our neighborhoods.
We must work to end them. We must work together to create a safer a place for everyone around us and free the oppressed. In order to do that, we must be aware of what is going on around us.
