I wanted to share with you all a few articles I found in some simple searches today. I didn’t list it but I do want to give a shout out to Amy Poehler and not understanding the Not-A-Feminists of today. It’s a fun read too.
Boys Need Feminism too by Dana De la Cruz – this story calls out the inequalities that men deal with. Saying that boys or men can’t do something that is classically feminine is a problem in this society too. It keeps people looking at the world from the gender perspective. It’s a subtle reminder of where we still need to go and a topic I plan on giving my perspective on soon.
Feminism is Big Business by Bhakti Shringarpure – this is a review of feminism and some of the forms it took this year.
For China, a New Kind of Feminism by Didi Kirsten Tatlow – this is an inspirational story about how Leaning In can improve where we are and help us get where we’re going in feminism and gender equality
Feminism a Good Fit for One ‘Good Muslim Boy’ by Katrin Bennhold – this is a story about an inspirational man in England who makes a big difference in England every day on women’s issues, or what I’d rather call People issues.
